  1. My favorite piece of advertising trivia is that Dove and Axe are owned by the same company (Unilever). So many of those images hurled at the little girl are hurled from down the hall.

    (That being said, I think the Dove work is fantastic and worthy of all the praise.)

  2. Yeah, the same company that owns Dove also owns Slimfast,too. So they make their “campaign for real beauty” while at the same time showing all the sexed up nympho bimbos on the Axe commercials and pushing thin bodies on the Slimfast commercials. More than a wee bit hypocritical.
