My last name is Pyles (piles) which was a slang term for hemorrhoids at one time…my great-grandfathers name was Seymour, and his sister was Minnie (Seymour Pyles and Minnie Pyles). Minnie was at least smart enough to go by her middle name Carol

I once took a Calligraphy class, and the teacher wrote the lists for Weddings. One time, there was a guy named “Friez” (pronounced freeze) and a person named “Bergurs” or something. So he’s like, “The Fries should go next to the Burgers!!”

These were all soooooo hilarious, but have to tell you I live in the town where Earl E May began his seed and nursery company.
The funniest name I can come up with is a headline seen on Jay Leno and the Tonight Show. It was a wedding announcement for a Mr. Rhea and a Miss Diar. The headline read: DIAR-RHEA TO WED.

A colleague named Herb purchased a new computer back in the 70′s from a company named Wang. Of course it was the most powerful of the line. Herb bought himself a Big new Wang. LOL. Everyone had to see Herb’s new Wang. The machine malfunctioned. The company dispatched a repairman, Thic Fong Dong to heal Herb’s broken Wang. Much amusement in the halls.

There was a Rose Queen in Tyler Tx. in the 70′s named Holly Hedges. Also in Tyler, there were sisters named Amber and Chrystal Bowls.

But the worst Punny name I know is the name of one of my daughters school-mates: Chase Cox! His parents were truly mean!
