I went to a horror convention in Denver Colorado a few years back, there was a couple dressed as ghost busters. The best part was the car they drove was a cavalier, turned into a ghost buster machine... It was amazing. :D

A friend of mine told me about this site. I made the Bender costume back in 2003ish. I added the servos the second year as well as an MP3 player with Bender sound clips from the DVDs. The battery powered speakers weren't loud enough, so I added a set of 100 watt Blaupunkt speakers and a 40 watt amplifier the third year.

I still have the costume, it hangs from the ceiling in my office at NextSpace in Santa Cruz. I took it for a spin this year at Halloween for the first time in about 5 years. I'm thinking of building Bender 2.0 next year. Although it is just a paper barrel, I did go to a number of lengths to make it as true to the character as I was able. Bender 2.0 would be even closer, and a hell of a lot more comfortable ;-).

This list is obviously British, and therefore has no cause or effect...I propose a new list without any limeys!
If this list was not British, I might suggest faking an English accent, and may got have mercy on your soul.
Cheerio.

I took the one of Ben Hallert. The more entertaining photos were of him getting in and out of the elevator while wearing that costume...

These costumes are great and so creative! My favorite is the Tron Guy! It's amazing what you can come up with, with old junk or new around the house. Thanks for the inspiration.

I've had braces for the last three years and have been dying to wear fangs. So in celebration of no longer having braces, I am going as a vampire this year. I have most of the stuff I need anyways.
