They made it, and did quite a few joy vaults before the head guy's girlfriend tried. She hit the net, but bounced off and fell on her neck from a high of about 30 ft. A human catapult? This sounded like a good idea? Of course, I must admit, after reading that line I did think about how cool it would be to catapult into a lake. I can only imagine the whiplash. I did go bungee jumping once. 150 feet from a crane in South Padre Island, TX. Needless to say I was rather drunk at the time. I sure wasn't afterward though. Really? A human catapult?
