How about MES, Musical Ear Syndrome? It is common with tinnitus and hearing loss. I have high frequency hearing loss, and when I am in a quiet place, I hear phantom sounds. For the most part, it sounds like a radio or tv is playing very softly in another room - too soft to make out words, and sometimes the sound is like faint music.

I had a summer job doing traffic surveys and one of our tasks was to count axles of vehicles going under the overpass that we were standing on. After watching the vehicles go by for about twenty minutes, the bridge felt like it was moving.....

I'm fairly certain the phantom waves/roller coaster/trampoline sensations are due a "memory" in the vestibular system. It informs the brain/body of your location in space as well as speed and motion. It's why some people get motion sickness.

I haven't ever had the phantom vibrations from my phone (it's not a Blackberry but has vibration) but I have had phantom ringing.

It's kind of like thinking you hear the phone ring when your vacuuming... I will think I hear it ring when it's really the TV or radio.

I know those who have can relate know- after an exhausting day at Kings Dominion on the ride back to my house which is a cool 30min, I close my eyes and feel like I am still on those rides. I go to bed and wake up still feeling that way-this usually wears off about day 2 and a half after the festivities but I was wondering why is that? I have taken Physics and my teacher has said it was due to Gravity, acceleration and weight. Could this really explain it? I really don't want to relive those formulas:)

I have a habit of walking around barefoot outside. Occassionally, I have stepped on a slug. Even after wiping the slug goo (yuck) off of my foot, it still feels like there are tiny slugs wiggling around on my foot. Gross!

In line with your phantom list, I just recently heard about a Russian experiment that was able to produce phantom DNA. I read about the experiment, but I must admit I'm no expert. The jist that I got was that they shot DNA with lasers in a chamber and it created a phantom version of the DNA made of light. Once they removed the DNA the phantom version of it remained in the chamber, and propagated! They were able to monitor it for 1 month. I can not attest to the validity of this experiment, but the implications are amazing. I was going to link the article but no links allowed, so just google search phantom DNA if you want to get the details.

I have experienced all of these.

I remember when I was a youngster we would go to a family friends house and they had a trampoline which I thought was awesome. I would jump on it for HOURS at a time and that night in bed and the next morning my body felt like it was going up and down. Similar to the wave one.

Does it just have something to do with muscle memory or is that a different thing altogether?
