That’s right. It’s QUIZ WEEK!! here at mental_floss, and we’re so excited that one exclamation point wouldn’t suffice. Every day this week(!!) we’ll be rolling out 3 new quizzes for your satisfaction (as well as posting a few of our favorite oldies). In fact, we’re getting things started by monkeying around with this terrific new quiz from Chris Weber. Click here to play, and be sure to post your score in the comments below.

70%… but isn’t it 23 “pairs” of chromosomes, not 23 chromosomes?

100%, but I won’t tell what percentage was lucky guess.
Jane Goodall and others have done a great job of telling their story. Apes and humans are fascinating and we have a lot to learn about both.

80% - woo-hoo for vague memories of primatology classes!
(And the answer about whether apes use sentences is completely off-base, btw. A tiny number of scientists claim that a tiny number of apes can use a tiny number of words in a sort of kinda sentence-like way, ish. Nobody else really agrees.)

90%, missed ‘who hunts animals for food?’

90%! I missed the one about sentences - I’ve had trouble following Koko’s signed sentences…

100% and 50% of that was lucky guessing. Interesting about the hunting.

90%, missed the one about the brains. I think I was thinking just physical size as opposed to body to brain ratio…or something.
