QUIZ WEEK!!: The Big TV Challenge

If you don’t rush for the bathroom the minute your favorite TV show ends, you’ve certainly seen the production tag at the very end. Called vanity cards in the industry, they are two seconds of blatant “look at me!” time for the creative minds behind the program. (The “Sit, Ubu, sit!” tag above is one). It’s simple: match the popular TV shows on the left to their proper tags on the right. Good luck!

  1. I guess I’ve been rushing off to the bathroom too often!

  2. Man, I’m disturbed – I went 12 for 12.

  3. A tough, but fun one! Sadly, 67%.

  4. Only 8 of 12.

That’s Stephen J. Cannell, not Carroll.

  5. 100%…I watch TOO MUCH television…

  6. 10 of 12. mixed up Taxi and Newhart.

  7. I can’t even try… half the TV shows I’ve never seen!

  8. 100%

I’m such a TV geek that I also read every one of Chuck Lorre’s vanity cards.

Fortunately, I’m not enough of one to have memorized them :-)

  9. 7 of 12. Missed the shows I didn’t watch growing up, but I was really surprised how quickly I was able to remember the others. Currently my two favorite vanity cards are Bad Robot (as I type it I can hear it in my head, eerie) and Stupid Monkey. As much as I love South Park, I cannot stand the Braniff logo.

  10. 7 out of 12, I did beat the average but I’m not sure that I’m proud of the fact that I did better on this quiz than I did on the First line of the Novel quiz, 2 out of 10.

  11. hmmm 9/12. For what it’s worth, I got everyone right that I’d ever watched for more than half an episode (I hardly count thirtysomething, as it was always a little out of my league)

  12. LOL Denise; I never watched thirtysomething until Lifetime started re-running it many years after the fact. My husband has his own pet name for that show – “thirty*badword*ed up.”

  13. Why can’t I remember the important things? Only stuff like this sticks in my head.

  14. 12 out of 12. I’m good.
