This week of audio quizzes has been a slight form of torture for me! I love all of the mental_floss quizzes, and they’re a great way to add some sparkle to my work day, but if I turn up my speakers at work, I’ll get busted! That just might be something to consider. Do most people go on mental_floss while at work?
kate-yes I only visit mental_floss while at work. Somedays it’s the only thing that keeps me from falling asleep. But I do have to lean into my speakers at times and I have a trigger- quick minimize finger. :D
AH, few movies are more fun to quote than “Holy Grail.” Or any Monty Python movie for that matter. Pure genius, those guys are.
75% on the RS, 100 on SNL, and 100% on the movie quiz.
I loooooove the sound quizzes and am fortunate enough to work in a place where if I were caught, my co-worker or supervisor would want me to send them the link. I still listen with headphones, just be considerate to those around me.
100% on the SNL quiz.. man what happened to that show? too bad all the good people are either dead, nowhere to be found, or trying to revive their career with something not even comparable to their career on SNL.. sad. oh well. i guess that’s what makes television history.
I love how every generation thinks that their SNL was the best. It’s selective perception – we tend not to remember the stinky ones. Or sometimes they just need time. I used to be annoyed by Adam Sandler. Now I look back and genuinely laugh at Opera Man.
