It’s the weekend again, and I hope you’re as happy about that as I am.

Following are nonsensical anagrams of the titles of fifteen #1 U.S. pop hits from the last fifteen years or so. Win a mental_floss T-shirt by solving them all!

Submit your answers in a comment to this post (and be sure to mention which T-shirt you’d prefer). We’ll reveal the correct answers and the winner’s name on Monday. Here we go:

  7. I don’t think using an anagram site would help here. All you’d end up with would be a bunch of other anagrams to match up against a song’s title. Somewhere in the anagrams would be the title — but you’d still have to know the titles of hit songs to recognize it when you saw it. I think, in this case, that a DJ would have a big edge.
