		<description>I didnt know this artist at all.  It amazes me that at some point in time, the concept of mothers interacting/caring for their children was a revolutionary concept.  I cannot imagine what my childhood would have been without my mom there caring for every bruised knee or perfect grade.</description>

		<description>The first time I saw Mary Cassatt paintings were on some stamps I purchased a few years ago.  I was so impressed with the quality and warm emotion that the paintings evoked on a stamp that I researched her on the net and became even more interested and fascinated with her.  I made sure that I used those stamps for close friends and business associates and clients.  It is strange that nobody that received my correspondence commented about the stamp.</description>
