Mental Floss book a Top 10 Reference
mental_floss, the Birmingham-based magazine, said it got an early Christmas present this week when Amazon.com editors selected its Condensed Knowledge as one of the year's Top 10 reference books.
"It's particularly gratifying when you consider the quality and popularity of some of the other books on the list," said Will Pearson, co-founder of mental_floss.
Condensed Knowledge already has over 50,000 copies in print after only a few months. HarperCollins, its publisher, has signed the mental_floss team for two more books. Forbidden Knowledge is coming in September 2005.
