Bass Tournament Cheating Leads to Jail Time Cheating in a fishing tournament is taken very seriously in Texas, especially when there are expensive prizes involved. Robby Rose of Garland, Texas, was caught padding his catch in a bass tournament when a one-pound lead weight was found in the small fish he caught.
