The Late Movies: 1973

In September of 1973 I turned 15 years old. Now I have a daughter who is 15 and she watched the Video Music Awards with the excitement I might have had over a stadium concert back in the day. Here are some of my favorite songs from 1973 on the late movies. I spent a lot of quarters playing these on the jukebox!
Feelin' Stronger Every Day
Chicago music takes me back.
*
Rocky Mountain High
John Denver made us all feel good in 1973.
*
Smoke on the Water
The biggest hit of the year ...and the song that lived forever.
*
China Grove
From The Doobie Brothers.
*
We're an American Band
That American band was Grand Funk Railroad by name.
*
Love Train
This song by the O'Jays reminds me of that one guy who was so good-looking, but years later turned out to be an ass.
*
Hello It's Me
From Todd Rundgren.
*
Stuck In The Middle With You
By Stealer's Wheel.
*
Could It Be I'm Falling In Love
By The Spinners. And yes, I was definitely falling in love.
*
Living For The City
Stevie Wonder is still awesome!
*
I just regret that there aren't good videos for all my favorites from 1973!
