Lifehacker had some fantastic footage a couple of days ago of a Windows desktop that lets you play with your documents as if they were actual pieces of paper. Combined with the new multi-touch-screen technology that lets you manipulate several different things on your screen at once with just your hands, this could be the key to finally making your virtual desktop look just like your real one -- messy, cluttered, and constantly in flux. Er, I'm sure it's still a good idea.
