Specifically, Mike and Janet Huckabee, who are leaving office after years of being the First Family of Arkansas. Here's the problem with moving out of the governor's mansion: you can't take it with you. So the couple needs some serious housewarming gifts. Alas, there's a problem there too, as the governor can't accept gifts over $100, unless they're engagement or wedding gifts. So the Huckabees, who have been married for 32 years, quite logically created "wedding registries" at Dillard's and Target. (We couldn't find a wedding portrait, although the Huckabees are pictured here converting to a "covenant marriage" in 2005.)
The items seem to be selling briskly, although the Huckabees still need 23 of their Lenox holiday-themed wineglasses.
