Fantastically Imaginative Playhouses
By Jill Harness

When I was a kid, I longed for a simple treehouse to play in. But the playhouses featured on Web Urbanist put my childhood fantasies to shame. The post has every type of possible playhouse, from realistic, scaled-down houses to cartoon-styled buildings to castles and pirate ships.
Of course, only the wealthiest 1% of America could afford most of these playhouses (some cost over $10,000) and most kids will grow tired of their play areas within a matter of years, but its still fun to dream about being the kid with his own private mansion, isn't it?
