Every Friday, I post a series of unrelated questions meant to spark conversation in the comments. Answer one, answer all, respond to someone else's reply, whatever you want. Very casual. On to this week's topics of discussion...
1. I'm already in a napping mood this morning, which doesn't bode well for the rest of the day. So let's start with a sleep question—what's the longest you've slept at a time? And the much more interesting follow-up: what were you doing beforehand to make you so tired? I put in a solid 16 hours the first night back on campus after a spring break trip to the Bahamas my junior year. I could go for another 16 hours right now.
2. If we sponsored a Housework Olympics, at what event would you excel? You'd have a hard time keeping me from winning gold in Stand-at-the-top-of-the-garage-stairs-and-throw-bottles-into-the-recycling-bin.
3. I was talking with someone yesterday about how "Where do you think LeBron's going?" had seeped into our conversational lives, temporarily replacing "How about this weather?" (A common follow-up: "That Nets owner sure is tall, huh?") With James headed to Miami, I guess it's back to chatting about humidity. Is there a specific topic you use as conversational filler? What do you talk about when there's nothing to talk about?
4. I'm hoping for big things from this last topic. Don't let me down! Tell us one interesting fact you learned from whatever book you're reading.
Great weekends all around!
