The Late Movies: Fake Educational Films

By Ransom Riggs

Educational films are easy to make fun of, and easy to parody -- but not easy to parody well. Here are some very funny (and often bizarre) parodies that won't teach you much, but hopefully will make you laugh.
Markets of Britain is by the guys who brought you the hilarious BBC series Look Around You.
Birds of Britain is from the same series.
You may remember Zinc Oxide and You from Kentucky Fried Movie.
What happens when you give a spider LSD?
Family Guy took a chauvinistic crack at the educational films genre. Here's "Women in the Workplace."
My all-time favorite is from The Simpsons:
OK, this isn't an educational film, but it is about educational puppets -- and how delicious they can be.
