Grinding Out A Living

I know from experience that a minimum wage job can feel like a real grind. Artist Blake Fall-Conroy took that idea quite literally with his invention of the Minimum Wage Machine "“ a device that rewards constant physical exertion with a penny every 5.04 seconds (Or $7.15/hour). Â As soon as the user stops moving the hand crank, the flow of pennies stops right along with it.
Mindlessly cranking a wheel all day is a great way to simulate the monotony of a lot of the jobs I've held in my life. Have you ever held a job that seemed just as bad and unprofitable as tediously cranking a wheel for pennies?
