Getting to Know Your Colors, pt 2

Yesterday, we took a look at some of the symbolism behind various colors. If you missed it, be sure to check out part 1 right over here.

In that post, I revealed that blue was my favorite color. Well, it seems I’m not alone, at least with school children. 2,000 pre-adolescent school children and 2,000 post-adolescents were asked what their favorite color is. Here’s how it broke down:

As you can see, red is a poor second, with green a close third. The variation in the preference for these two latter colors is much greater than it is for our champion, blue. What about you all? What’s your favorite color and why?
