The Late Movies: This Will Make You Cry

Usually on The Late Movies I post five videos, or eight, or ten. But tonight's video is more powerful than ten videos, and I feel like posting more similarly-themed videos after it would just dilute its effect. It's a short documentary called Last Minutes with Oden, about a man who has to have his much-loved dog put to sleep. But Old Yeller this is not; it's as nuanced as the man himself, a former drug addict named Jason who spent ten years in jail. I think trouble like that could only bond you more strongly to a faithful dog -- the one part of your family who'll never judge you for what you've done -- and make the letting-go all the more difficult. I'd say this is NSFW, because of some language here and there, and because you might not want to walk into your 3pm meeting with puffy, red eyes. Don't say I didn't warn you.
