Jammie Thomas-Rasset of Minnesota has been ordered to pay Capitol Records $1.5 million for illegally downloading and sharing 24 songs on file-sharing network Kazaa in 2006.

Related Fact: That's $62,500 per song. The songs would have cost approximately $24 on iTunes.
