The Number of the Day: 26%

In a recent survey, 26% of U.S. adults said they'd read a print version of a newspaper the previous day. Back in 2006, that number was 38%.
Related Facts: According to the same survey, 17% had visited a newspaper website the day before. Adults under age 50 are now more likely to read newspapers online (19%) than in print (15%).
