Google's Cutting-Edge (and Sort of Creepy) Data Centers

Since we're all talking about the CIA and Tom Clancy-style special ops teams this week -- and the Playstation Network is still down -- I found this video from Google especially interesting. It's ostensibly a promo about their advanced security measures, meant to intimidate hackers and data thieves from trying anything funny -- but it kinda creeped me out, too. Don't get me wrong: I'm glad they're strict about security. This is Google's version of Mission: Impossible, where pasty nerds get iris-scanned and used-up hard drives are eviscerated six ways from Sunday. It looks like it would be harder to break into one of their data centers than the vault of the Bellagio on fight night. (I also dig their guard gates, which look more like catapults designed to fling unwanted cars in the opposite direction.)
