What Was Your Very First Job?

Jason English

On Fridays, I post a series of unrelated questions meant to spark conversation in the comments. Answer one, answer all, respond to someone else's reply, whatever you want. On to this week's topics of discussion...

1. This site lets you look up the bestselling books for any date. What was on the bestseller list the day you turned 21? Have you read any of them?

2. What was your very first job? While the pay was likely low and the work was probably less than ideal, are there any lessons you learned that have carried through the rest of your life?

3. Today is the 43rd anniversary of the moon landing. I wasn't born for another 10 years and 10 days, but of all the news events I wish I'd been around for, that's a pretty clear #1. Besides that one, what's a major historical event you really would have liked to witness?

4. You know the deal with #4. Got a question for the group? Use this slot to ask it. Or if you have a question suggestion for me, fire it over via Twitter @EnglishJason. Enjoy the weekend!
