Brain Game: I'd Walk a Mile...
This is an old riddle, but still a good one, and rather interesting if you've never heard it before. See if you can figure it out:
An Arab sheik tells his two sons to race their camels
to a distant city to determine who will inherit his fortune.
The one whose camel is slowest will win.
The brothers, after wandering aimlessly
for days, ask a wise man for advice.
After hearing (and heeding) the advice, they jump on
the camels and race as fast as they can to the city.
What advice did the wise man give?
HERE'S the accepted answer.
The wise man suggested that the brothers switch camels. Since each brother is riding the other's camel, and the owner of the slowest camel wins, each tries to reach the city first to make the other brother lose.
