Brain Game: Product Placement
By BY

It's Think Thursday here at the mentalfloss.com Brain Game. Good luck!
Use each of the digits 1 through 9 once, in any order, to create two numbers - the product of which must be as large as possible. (The digits are just digits in a number, not exponents or anything else, and no other operators may be added to the mix.)
For example, 98765 × 4321 = 426,763,565. (This product is about half the size of the largest one possible, in case that information helps.)
As explained above, what rendering of the digits from 1 through 9 results in the highest possible product?
Here is the SOLUTION.
THE SOLUTION:
87,531 × 9,642 = 843,973,902.
