This Mini, Modular Trailer Adapts to Your Road Trip Needs

Making the most of tight spaces is the first rule of a successful road trip, and the Happier Camper takes this principle to new extremes. As designboom reports, the retro trailer can be modified to fit an office, kitchen, or bedroom inside its lightweight shell.
The convenient camper weighs 1100 pounds and measures 13 feet long by 7 feet wide—small enough to fit inside a parking spot. When it’s empty, the 70-square-foot space can be used to store bulky sports gear like mountain bikes and kayaks. To use it for camping, owners can repurpose the grid-like interior with furniture attachments. Examples include a kitchenette, an office space, a dry-flush toilet, and a bed that sleeps five. The Happier Camper also features a collapsible awning and a 100-watt solar panel for powering USB and AC energy sockets and a Bose sound system.
