The Golden Girls Are Starring in Their Own Version of Clue
Dorothy, Rose, Blanche, and Sophia have been immortalized as mugs, Funko dolls, and coloring book characters. The next place fans will see the Golden Girls is on the cover of their own board game. As Nerdist reports, the beloved sitcom is the theme behind the latest version of Clue.
Fortunately for our leading ladies, murder isn’t the catalyst of this whodunit plot. Instead, players will race to reveal who ate the last slice of cheesecake.
Stan and Miles join the caper as it leads players through Blanche’s home. The “weapons” have also been given a Golden Girls update: Was it Dorothy in the kitchen with the feathered shoe? Or Sophia in the lanai with the hairspray? Other items include lipstick, a lounge chair, a bathrobe, and a purse.
The Golden Girls is the latest pop culture treasure to receive the Clue treatment. Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, and Dungeons & Dragons have all been re-imagined for the mystery game. Board game fans can pick up Golden Girls Clue for $40 when it hits shelves this June.
