Help Remake "The Empire Strikes Back"
A long time ago in a blog post far, far away, I stumbled across Star Wars: Uncut, a crazily amazing Star Wars fan project. The idea was simple: cut up Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope into 473 snippets, have people online remake those snippets in whatever way they deemed interesting (think "Chewie is played by the family dog and the Millennium Falcon is Dad's van"), then assemble the whole thing into a new movie.
Okay, so that happened. And now they're doing The Empire Strikes Back. Here's the teaser trailer, with a few examples of what you might expect from the finished film:

But the best part: you can help. Through May 1, you can claim a scene to remake -- though at the time I post this, their server is melting. We should get 3PO to isolate the reverse power flux coupling and make it fully functional again.
