Don’t Lose Your Balance as You Stare at This Trippy Floor Illusion

Hopefully you'll never have a few too many glasses of wine before walking down this hallway, which uses an optical illusion to make it look like the floor is warping downward like the start of a sinkhole.
Digg found this particular trippy illusion on Twitter, where the tile company behind it also posted a quick video of how it was made. The differently sized, rhombus-shaped tiles warp the perspective of the floor at Casa Ceramica's office in Manchester, England, creating the illusion of the disorienting slope downward you see in the image below. Don't lose your balance.

If you look at it from the back, you can see the way the tile shapes curve to fool your eyes, though it still looks a little wonkier than your average hallway.
Correct, here is the view back the other way @casaceramica pic.twitter.com/c6LaVIw1sW

Thinking of making one yourself? Check out the video of the process:

It sounds like this might be just the right company to hire if you're looking to play a really expensive/labor intensive prank.
