Oreo Has Introduced Wasabi and Hot Chicken Wing Flavored Cookies

When it comes to bold bites, wasabi and hot wings are two beloved flavors around the world. But what would it taste like if you squished one of those culinary delights between two chocolate cookie wafers? Snack lovers in China are about to find out, as Oreo has just added Wasabi and Hot Chicken Wing cookies to its ever-growing product lineup.

Oreo, of course, has never shied away from experimenting with new and innovative flavors. In the past few years, we’ve seen—and tried—cinnamon bun, deep-fried, and bright pink Peeps Oreos (which came with an unfortunate side effect). But savory cookies have yet to make it to store shelves in the U.S., so you’ll have to book a flight to China if you want to give these sweet-meets-spicy treats a try.

Fortunately, the folks over @tictoc by Bloomberg were brave enough to give them a try. And it turns out that the wasabi flavor was kind of a hit. You can watch them dissect and review the cookies below.
