What's the most dangerous thing you've ever done? In this TED Talk, Commander Chris Hadfield gives us twenty minutes on the most dangerous thing he did, which was strap himself into a NASA Space Shuttle, facing odds of catastrophic failure somewhere around 1 in 40. Oh, and he did it twice, not to mention his trip on a Soyuz. He made it, though at one point on a spacewalk he managed to go blind for a while (!).

Sample line: "In the astronaut business, we have a saying: There is no problem so bad that you can't make it worse." Enjoy. (Warning: there's a Bowie cover at the end.)
