In January of 2013, we published a piece on cheating in sports. The story included a section on the 1985 British Open, where a Scottish player was disqualified and subsequently banned from the sport for repeatedly moving his ball to a better lie during qualifying. His name was David Robertson.

Regrettably, the photo we used with our story was not of the same David Robertson. The David Robertson we pictured (above) is not a Scottish professional golfer. But he is a Scottish amateur golfer, and we sincerely apologize for this mistake and the confusion and any embarrassment our story may have caused Mr. Robertson and his family.
