November 10, 2019 will mark 50 years since Sesame Street first aired on television. In celebration of the landmark anniversary, USPS is releasing a special series of postage stamps featuring the most popular Sesame Street characters, WMUR reports.

As the Postal Service said in a news release, the new stamps are meant to honor "one of the most influential and beloved children’s television shows." The set, designed by USPS art director Derry Noyes, features 16 postage stamps, each with its own colorful Muppet. Classic characters like Big Bird, Cookie Monster, Elmo, and Oscar the Grouch are included, as well as more recent additions, like Julia, Sesame Street's first Muppet with autism, and Abby Cadabby.

According to USPS, the new stamp collection will be made available some time in 2019. Specific release dates and the locations of first-day-of-issue ceremonies will be announced soon.

Sesame Street is just the latest wholesome show from your childhood to be recognized by the U.S. Postal Service. In 2018, USPS released a Mister Rogers stamp in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood.
