Jerome Flynn, the actor behind Game of Thrones's Ser Bronn of the Blackwater, knows that his beloved sellsword has always been a fan-favorite character on the show—but he doesn't seem convinced that that's how audiences will remember him once season 8 is over.

"I don't know, they might not love him as much as they do right now," Flynn told INSIDER at the New York City Game of Thrones premiere. "But I hope they still do. He is who he is and what he says, isn't he? And he'll do what he needs to get his castle."

A character remaining true to oneself in order to get what they want is something we'll likely see a lot of in Game of Thrones's final season, but that Flynn thinks viewers' opinion of Bronn might change has us wondering just exactly what he'll be up to in season 8. Though Flynn wasn't spilling any details, he did admit that he had a much different filming experience than many of his co-stars, who have regularly stated how exhausting it was.

"It wasn't that stressful or strenuous for me," Flynn admitted. "Yeah, that's all I'm saying. I wasn't that stressed or strained."

Game of Thrones will return for its eighth and final season on April 14, 2019.
