Last week, Star Wars fans were excited to get their first solid pieces of intel about the next film in the series, including its official title (The Rise of Skywalker) and confirmation that one of the most feared villains from the original trilogy (Emperor Palpatine) would be returning. But it seems one dedicated fan of the series used the Force to predict both of these things ... almost seven years ago.

According to ScreenRant, someone guessed the name of Episode IX and the fact that Palpatine would be returning all the way back in 2012. On November 22, 2012, Gabriel Garcia tweeted out some eerily spot-on predictions about where the series was headed. Although a few installments off, it’s still pretty impressive.

Garcia’s tweet came at a time when Disney had just purchased Lucasfilm and fans were trying to guess what Episode VII’s title would be. (That turned out to be The Force Awakens.) But the prediction was eerily prophetic, and deserves an invite to the premiere in our opinion.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker hits theaters on December 20, 2019.
