Given the strong fanbase Game of Thrones has built over the past eight seasons, it's no surprise that the cast and fans would feel connected—and one fan got Jon Snow to shed a tear.

In an interview on the Graham Norton Show, Kit Harington spoke about an experience he had with a fan at the airport right after Game of Thrones wrapped filming for the last time.

“I had kind of waited—I really, really had waited to say the words, 'Not anymore.' Like it a really stoic, kind of cool way,” Harington said in response to being asked “are you Jon Snow?" frequently. “What really happened was I left set and I was very emotional, and this poor girl came up [to me at] the airport and went, 'Are you Jon Snow?' And I went, 'Not anymore!' he said, feigning tears. "She backed off pretty quick.”

Yikes. We wouldn't know what to do if we were that fan, either.

We can see where Kit is coming from—leaving a character after so long has to feel like leaving a part of you behind. Only for him, it will be immortalized in reruns for decades to come.
