Often when we think about wearable technology, we think of gadgets that we can wear—fashion is generally not in the equation. Wearable tech studio Cute Circuit wants to reverse this trend by making items that are fashion first and technology second.

The company designs the fashion, creates the technology, and writes the software, designing every aspect themselves to create interactive garments that look like they're straight out of The Jetsons. Their latest project is a miniskirt that is controlled via tablet and displays tweets (the future!!!). If you're worried about cumbersome wires and batteries, Cute Circuit found a manufacturer that makes conductive ribbons so the fabric is lightweight and comfortable. The only question now is: how soon can I get a dress to display all my social media statuses?
