In Bolivia, the Luna Salada Hotel is made mostly of salt. Located on a vast salt flat, salt bricks make up the walls and much of the furniture, including chairs and beds (though from the video, there are some non-salt items too—I spotted some wooden chairs, comfy cushions, and a little wood and brick in the framing). But, as "buildings made of salt" go, this is amazing. In this video, you can tour the salt hotel in just three minutes, learning about the unique challenges of building with this material. (Unsurprisingly, the rainy season is a huge hassle.) Enjoy:
