If you somehow managed to avoid the grating "Clap on! Clap off!" commercials from decades back, the Clapper was a device originally introduced in 1984 that let you control your lights, TVs, and other plug-in gadgets by way of a simple clap. And this Darth Vader-themed take on the whole thing works in the same way. Simply connect a device to the Clapper and plug it into the wall. Once it's all hooked up, you just have to clap twice to turn your devices on and off. It's about as close as you'll get to using the Force, and you can find it on Amazon for $30.

But this device does more than that. When you turn your lights on, Darth Vader says “The force is strong with this one,” and when you turn the lights off, he says, "You underestimate the power of the Dark Side.”

If you’d rather steer clear of the Dark Side, Amazon also offers a Clapper in the form of everyone's favorite anxious protocol droid, C-3PO, for $30. It works just like the Darth Vader model, only when you turn the lights on, you’ll hear, “Hello, sir. All systems have been alerted to your presence,” and when you turn him off, he’ll say, “Something’s not right, because now I can’t see.”
