The Office Star Leslie David Baker Teases His Return as Stanley With a Kickstarter for a New Show

This news is almost as exciting as Pretzel Day.
If you're missing the cast of The Office, Stanley Hudson actor Leslie David Baker has an announcement you've got to see. While he doesn't give away too many details in his latest Instagram posts, he did reveal the start of a Kickstarter campaign to fund a new TV pilot called Uncle Stan.
According to the campaign, Baker would star as "Uncle Stan," a retiree who "gets a call from his nephew Lucky in Los Angeles asking for help with his two kids and running his motorcycle/flower shop." Baker uploaded a few videos to his Instagram page in character, but it's unclear if he's actually planning to play Stanley from The Office or a character that's just similar enough to get fans excited. Either way, judging by his colorful shirt and seemingly tropical location in the videos, it appears he's living swell in Florida.
If you're interested in pledging money to the project, there are multiple tiers to choose from, ranging from $1 to $10,000. Like any Kickstarter campaign, the more you donate, the more you get out of it, with the highest tier landing you an actual appearance on the show. The campaign has a $300,000 goal and raised more than $67,000 with 15 days left. You can see more about the Kickstarter here.
