SpaceX Travel Posters Sell The Perfect Mars Vacation

One way to sell space exploration to the masses: make it look like a classy, vintage vacation destination.
SpaceX, the private aerospace company that currently runs resupply missions to the International Space Station, has released a series of retro-inspired posters depicting Mars as the galaxy's go-to destination. Similar to the fictional Exoplanet Travel Bureau posters released by NASA earlier this year, they’re filled with other-worldly sunsets and happy-go-lucky part-time astronauts kicking back and enjoying the sights, including the Martian moons, the vast canyon of Valles Marineris, and Olympus Mons, the tallest volcanic mountain in the solar system.
A family road trip to the Grand Canyon just can't compete with a jaunt to the Mariner Valley. Maybe that one-way ticket to Mars isn't such a bad idea after all.
