Chat With an African Penguin in a Google Hangout

Curry is a month-old African penguin and the newest aquatic fowl at the California Academy of Sciences. This Thursday at 1:00 p.m. EST, you can chat up this baby bird via Google Hangout.
Called "Ask a Penguin Chick," the event allows users to ask the penguin all their pressing questions. Of course, there will be a team of biologists present to translate. You can RSVP here and ask questions on their Facebook.
The program aims to educate the public about African penguins. The species has been endangered since 2010 and could become extinct in the wild if proper action isn't taken.
Curry's colony is part of the Species Survival Plan. Created by the Association of Zoos & Aquariums, the initiative aims to repopulate diminishing breeds through controlled breeding. There are currently over 450 programs being managed, all attempting to sustain healthy, genetically diverse, and demographically varied populations. Participating zoos and aquariums can trade baby animals to keep the different species diverse.
If you've ever wanted to ask a penguin something, now is your chance!
