The Most Disproportionately Popular Cuisine in Each State

Yelp looked at the types of restaurants listed in each state on their website. They then took the percentage of each cuisine in a given state and compared it to the national average. Whatever had the great disparity found a place on the map. Now you know you can rely on Maryland the next time you're hankering for Peruvian.
The Afternoon Map is a semi-regular feature in which we post maps and infographics. In the afternoon. Semi-regularly.
