Sonic the Hedgehog has been a seminal video game character for over 30 years. The Sega mascot, which was almost a rabbit, is now heading to LEGO for even more fun adventures with a new set based on one of the most recognizable levels from the original game.

LEGO’s Sonic the Hedgehog Green Hill Zone set was exclusively released on the brand's site on January 1, 2022, for $70. It features 1125 pieces that fans can use to create the iconic video game level, which was modeled off the landscape of California.

The set comes with a minifigure of the legendary blue and white speedster as he races through the level. You’ll also find buildable characters like Crabmeat, Moto Bug with two faces, and Dr. Eggman with his Eggmobile. Once you’ve created the Green Hill Zone level set, you can send Sonic on his quest to collect all seven rings and seven Chaos Emeralds included in this set, then display them with Sonic on a stand. But first, Sonic will have to dodge obstacles like palm trees and bridge loops while running through a vertical loop. Using the lever-activated spring in this kit, you can have Sonic do super jumps, too. As another perk, it comes with two buildable TVs, along with five screen elements and five sticker options, respectively.
