Not everyone can be born with a green thumb, but there are enough resources out there to help you fake it. Anglian, a British home improvement company, created an interactive cheatsheet to help you decide what to grow in your personal garden. Using information like location, climate, and whether you’ll be growing your plants in a greenhouse, a plot garden, indoors, or on the patio, the cheatsheet delivers a list of vegetables suitable for your conditions.

The infographic also provides a list of companion plants that would complement the recommendations, either because of space constraints or their ability to deter pests. Unfortunately, it doesn't allow you to narrow down the results by how likely you are to kill your plants.

The cheatsheet only has location options for the U.S., U.K., and Australia, so if you live anywhere else, you’re on your own.
