Batman has been a Hollywood darling for more than half a century. The nocturnal superhero first starred in a Columbia Pictures serial film in 1943, and has not stayed out of theaters for too long since. The online magazine MVOD put together a mashup of all the Batmans since the DC franchise first appeared on film, from blurry black-and-white fight scenes from the ‘40s to Christian Bale’s slick motorcycle chases.
