Why Play Ping Pong With a Friend When You Can Play With a Giant, Threatening Robot?

Omron Automation & Safety wants you to think of automation as a nice, positive thing for the human race. To convey this idea, they created a commercial featuring people playing a game of ping pong with a robot. After a quick tease, the camera pulls out to show the player's opponent: a gigantic piece of machinery that looks like something from Alien. 

While these machines may look as though they're straight out of a horror movie, it's nice to see that they're still up for a friendly rally.
