Watch Ladybugs Take Off in Slow Motion

Have you ever noticed how ladybug wings are a lot bigger than the little red shells they hide under? The insects actually have a pretty interesting way of keeping those appendages folded up. Rainer Bergomaz from Blue Paw Artists filmed a ladybug up close to illustrate what the insect's preflight prep looks like.
